Types of Computer Software :
1- Operating System(OS)
2- Application Program
3- Utility Program.
4- Language Processing Program.
Operating System/System Software:
It is Interface between user and Computer user. It is the soul of computer, without OS you can not anything. There are two types of OS
1-Single User OS (MS-DOS)
2-Multi Use OS (Windows)
Application Program:
Those program of Computer, which is used to a particular Work that is known as application program.
like:MS-office, photoshop ,Coral Draw etc.
Utility Program :
Those program of computer, which include with Operating system.
like: paint, notepad, calculator etc.
Language Processing Program;
Those program of computer, which is used to make a new program that is known as Language Processing program.
Like: C, C#, C++ ,java, etc.
